Our surgeons participate in most health plans. We will try to make your appointment convenient and timely, given the constraints of information-gathering from you, to allow us to process your insurance details.
In order to see you in a timely manner, you need to bring the proper authorization documents that your particular insurance plan may require from your primary care physician. This includes your insurance card.
Patients who do not have insurance or wish to go out of plan are able to design a payment plan with our business manager.
Please bring any relevant x-rays or other studies that you may have already had in the investigation of your problem. All x-rays, CT scans, MRI’s and all other imaging is burned directly to a disc so that you may bring this with you to the off on the day of your appointment. You may request the films from the facility where these studies were performed. Your surgeon will want to review the x-rays, not only to confirm the diagnosis to but ensure that the technique and views taken were appropriate in the workup of your problem.
Our surgeons are available 24 hours a day. After hours, you may call the doctors for emergencies in situations such as those involving pain, bleeding, inability to void, or fever; or you may proceed to your nearest Emergency Room. For your safety, we will refill prescriptions only during office hours, when your medical records are available for review.
